Wardrobes

We’ve deliberately created a wardrobe collection that covers a wide range of sizes and configurations, from compact two-door wardrobes to triple and larger multi-door designs. Here, you'll also find wardrobes with integrated drawers, shelving and mirrors, so you can choose the ideal piece to suit your unique storage requirements.

Our painted Farro collection includes double, triple and four-door wardrobes with drawers, while our ever-sought-after Celine Washed Oak range provides double and triple wardrobe options. If you have a larger clothing collection (or you want enough space for one!), a triple or multi-door wardrobe can give you more capacity without the need for separate pieces of furniture.

When you’re comparing our designs, think about the way the wardrobe is configured internally as well as how many doors it’s got. The ‘best’ wardrobe isn't necessarily the biggest one – it's the one that provides the right combination of hanging, folded and drawer storage for the things that matter to you.

A well-chosen wardrobe can really reduce the amount of storage furniture you need elsewhere in your home. Hanging rails provide dedicated space for dresses, shirts, jackets and trousers, while shelves will obviously accommodate folded clothes, bags, boxes or bedding. Choosing a wardrobe with integrated drawers gives smaller items such as underwear, accessories or nightwear their own space and makes it easier to organise and access these pieces on a daily basis.

Before settling on a wardrobe, think about your current clothes rather than simply the amount of storage you would like. If you have lots of dresses and coats, you will naturally want to prioritise full-length hanging space, while a wardrobe with shelves and drawers may be more useful if you usually fold most of your garments away.

A wardrobe is likely to be one of the largest and most prominent pieces of furniture in your bedroom, so its finish will have a significant influence on the overall design. That’s why it’s important to make the right choice, first time!

Our wardrobe collection includes natural oak and washed oak pieces for those who want to introduce the warmth and character of wood into your bedroom aesthetic. We also stock lots of wardrobes in painted finishes; they have been carefully selected to work well with both traditional and contemporary interiors. From modern gloss and mirrored surfaces to other unique features, there are plenty of more distinctive design features here, too.

If you're furnishing the rest of the bedroom at the same time, you can coordinate your wardrobe with pieces such as bedside tables and chests of drawers by buying from the same range. But don’t be afraid to mix items from different collections! Just make sure the items have complementary colours, wood tones or design details to avoid making the room too mismatched.

Yes, and internal configurations vary between wardrobes, so it's worth looking beyond the exterior design. Depending on the model, you'll find hanging rails, shelves, internal compartments and integrated drawers integrated into our pieces.

Think about how your clothes are currently stored. If you own plenty of shirts, dresses and jackets, you will need to prioritise hanging space, but if you’re more of a jeans and T-shirt kind of person, shelves and drawers may prove more useful. For couples who dress differently, there are plenty of options that include a little bit of everything.

Always check the individual product page before ordering to make sure the dimensions will suit your room.

A double wardrobe is often a good enough option for one person with a smaller clothing collection and can work particularly well in smaller bedrooms and guest rooms. On the other hand, triple or quadruple wardrobes will always win on the space front and may offer a more varied internal layout. Roseland Furniture offers examples of both, including the relatively streamlined Surrey Oak Double Wardrobe & Drawer, as well as larger designs like the Ingleby 4 Door Wardrobe with Doors.

Always measure your available space before deciding. A larger wardrobe only improves storage if there's still enough room to comfortably move around the bedroom and open its doors.

They can be. A mirrored wardrobe combines clothing storage with a full-length mirror, so there’s no need to find a wall for a separate one. Mirrors also reflect light around a room and can help a compact bedroom feel brighter and much more open.

Our mirrored options include the Jago Slatted Effect Tall 3 Door 2 Drawer Mirrored Wardrobe, which combines a mirror with hanging and drawer storage and is available in various shades.

You need to think carefully about where you place the mirrored wardrobe, though. Think about what the mirror will reflect and whether direct sunlight from a nearby window could create a glare.

Start by checking the wardrobe's width, depth and height against your available space. Remember, you will always need to account for skirting boards, radiators, windows, plug sockets and sloping ceilings.

Hinged doors need enough unobstructed space in front of the wardrobe to open properly, and you need to be able to pull all drawers out fully.

Finally, measure the delivery route! Doorways, halls, stairs, landings and tight corners can all affect whether a large piece of furniture can reach its final destination. Always compare these measurements with the dimensions and delivery information on the individual product page.

It’s a great question. Our advice is to not only think about what you need in the moment but consider how your storage needs are likely to change over time. Choosing a wardrobe with a little more capacity will prevent your clothes from being too tightly packed together when your collection inevitably expands.

The finish of your wardrobe matters; you’ll need to enjoy it now and in the future. Oak and understated painted finishes adapt well to future changes to bedding, wall colours and other bedroom furnishings.
