Delivery Information

Please note that due to the impact of Covid-19 some deliveries may take slightly longer than normal. Thank you in advance for your understanding as our delivery partners work hard to keep everyone safe. 

We know that you want to receive your furniture as fast as possible, and we use a panel of delivery firms to ensure this happens. Once your order is dispatched you’ll receive an email from us.

Standard Delivery

Courier Service

Delivery is by 1-man courier service; the leadtime will be displayed on the product page.

This is an all-day, weekday service. You will receive tracking information when your order is dispatched. On the day of delivery a 2 hour delivery slot will be provided. 

If you are out when the driver attempts to deliver your furniture they will leave a card with simple options for re-delivery. Alternatively if there is a safe place to leave your item just let us know when ordering and we will pass on the request.

Delivery is to the main door to the building only. Please be aware, that if you live in a flat or have a shared entrance, the driver will only deliver your order to this entrance - not to the entrance to your flat. If you require extra assistance you may be able to upgrade to our to our enhanced 2-man service for an additional fee - please contact us to discuss this.

2-Man Service

Please note that due to Covid-19 and current Government advice, it may not be possible for the team to complete a room of choice service. The delivery service will advise of this prior to delivery and discuss available options.

Delivery will be completed by a specialist two-person delivery team, the leadtime will be displayed on the product page. This service is to a room of choice (as long as it is safe to do so). The delivery service will contact you to schedule in a delivery date, a three hour delivery slot will be given the day before delivery. Deliveries are completed in most areas Monday – Friday (Saturday is available in certain locations).

The driver can also call you one hour prior to arriving at your house so if you are out you can nip home to meet your delivery.

In preparation for a 2-Man delivery, we recommend that the route from the delivery van to your home is free from obstacles. You might also want to ensure items hanging on walls are removed and floors are protected (old sheets are good for this). 

Pallet Service

Used for our extra large, heavy or bulky items such as kitchen islands or larder units. Items are sent on a next working day service, and delivery is to the kerbside or driveway only. Be sure you have a helping hand as you are responsible for the item once its unloaded from the vehicle by the driver.

We can also send most of our 2-Man items on this service for a small extra charge, so if you need an item ASAP call us on 01872 672111.

Upgrades

Priority Dispatch, Express Delivery

(Due to Covid-19 this option is currently unavailable)

If you need your item ASAP then select this option on checkout and we’ll ensure your order is dispatched as a priority; we’ll ensure your item is delivered on the next working day providing you order before 10am; if you need Saturday delivery then please see the upgrade option below.

Please Note: Orders received on the weekend will be dispatched as a priority on Monday for delivery Tuesday. 

For larger items that we normally send on the Two Man service we can still offer the express delivery. However, please be aware the item will be sent via Pallet Service. 

Pre-12 Weekday Delivery

(Due to Covid-19 this option is currently unavailable)

Select this upgrade option and we’ll send your item on a pre-12pm weekday delivery service. Perfect for getting that delivery earlier in the day and your new furniture even faster! The delivery is completed by 1-man and is to the door only.

Saturday Delivery

(Due to Covid-19 this option is currently unavailable)

A great upgrade option if you are not available to take delivery during the week. For a small extra charge we can upgrade eligible items to a Saturday delivery service. Saturday delivery is an all-day service; completed by the 1-man courier service, to the door.

Please ensure you place your order before 9:30am Friday to get delivery on Saturday. Any orders received after this will be held for delivery the following Saturday.

Upgrade to 2-Man Service

(Due to Covid-19 this option is currently unavailable)

Upgrade eligible items to the specialist 2-man service. A great option if you need some extra help with delivery or would like an item/s delivered to a room of choice. Please note that as this is an enhanced service.

Packaging

Please retain any packaging until you've inspected your item and are 100% happy with it. 

All of the packaging is made from recycled material where possible, and it’d be fantastic if you could recycle the cardboard etc. as well. If not, cardboard boxes are always useful around the home!

Collect From Truro

It is possible to collect items from our Truro base which is open 5 days a week- please contact us on 01872 672111 or email us at: info@roselandfurniture.com so that we can advise on details of this service. Free customer parking is available and all collections will be operated following Covid guidelines. 

Non-Mainland UK/Europe

Please email or call us for our delivery charges and to confirm the delivery options we are able to offer. We can arrange delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic Of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly and mainland Europe.

Area Surcharges

We try to offer free delivery to as much of the UK as possible, unfortunately due to the high surcharges made to us by the delivery firms we can’t offer this to the whole of the UK.

A surcharge may be applied to the following postcodes: AB, DD, HS, IM, IV, KA, KW PA, PH, ZE

Non-UK mainland locations will also incur a surcharge and are quoted on a case by case basis to ensure we get the best price possible for you.

We will always work to keep any surcharge to an absolute minimum for our customers.

Flats/Apartments

Please be aware that 2 man deliveries to flats or apartments above the 2nd floor without access to a lift will be delivered subject to the drivers' discretion and if they feel it is safe to do so. 1 man courier deliveries are to the main door to the building only - not the door to your flat or apartment. Please see our T&C's for further information.
