Role: Outlet Colleague

Location: Roseland Furniture Outlet, Whatton, Nottinghamshire

Type: Full-time, permanent

Pay: From £22,000, dependent on age and experience

Holiday: 28 days’ paid holiday per year, including public holidays

We’re looking for an energetic, practical and motivated Outlet Colleague to join the team at Whatton.

It’s a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, sales support, merchandising, stock handling and warehouse duties. The successful candidate will help customers visiting the outlet, keep furniture displays well presented and replenished, receive and process incoming stock, prepare customer collections and deliveries, and help with the smooth day-to-day running of both the sales floor and warehouse.

Essential requirements:
• Previous forklift experience
• Reliable travel to and from the Whatton outlet for scheduled shifts
• Comfortable with the physical demands of moving and handling furniture
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience in content creation for social media and being comfortable featuring in video content for the outlet channels
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment
• Happy working across both the retail and warehouse sides of the outlet

Previous furniture, retail, warehouse or stock-handling experience would be an advantage.
