Exceptional Supported Comfort
The Gilston Corduroy Dining Chair elevates everyday dining with an integrated headrest that transforms meal times into properly relaxing experiences. Whilst most dining chairs leave your upper back and neck unsupported, this thoughtful addition supports your head during lengthy gatherings, making it equally suited to working from home or lingering over weekend brunches.
The headrest connects via a distinctive curved black metal frame that arcs gracefully behind the seat, creating sculptural interest that's as beautiful as it is functional. At 92cm tall, the extended back provides support without overwhelming smaller dining areas.
Effortless Swivel Mobility
Smooth 360-degree rotation eliminates the awkward chair-scraping shuffle when reaching for dishes or joining conversations. The four-pronged black metal base provides stable support throughout the swivel motion, whilst the compact footprint means multiple chairs can rotate freely without collision. This mobility proves invaluable in open-plan spaces where dining chairs serve double duty as flexible seating for various activities throughout the day.
Tactile Corduroy Luxury
Fine-wale white corduroy upholstery brings warmth and texture that standard dining chairs simply can't match. The vertical ribbing creates subtle shadow play whilst the soft fabric invites extended sitting.
The bucket-shaped seat flows seamlessly into gently tapered armrests, creating an embracing form that cradles you comfortably. Unlike smooth synthetic fabrics, corduroy breathes naturally and develops attractive character through regular use, making each chair unique over time.
Contemporary Architectural Statement
Clean curves meet industrial-chic metal detailing in a silhouette that commands attention from every angle. The matte black frame contrasts beautifully against pale upholstery, creating visual drama that elevates the entire dining space. This refined design works beautifully in minimalist, contemporary, or transitional interiors.
